At Harmony Grove UMC, we are passionate about including young children in worship so we created a special place just for them. Welcome to our Prayground! In this space they will find a variety of materials that will help to engage them in the worship experience. We feel it is important for children to witness their parents and others worshiping together. This provides an opportunity for spiritual formation to take place at an early age in a place where children feel comfortable and safe, along with their families. We encourage them to be 'active' participants as they are welcome to come and go freely from the Praygound or dance in the aisles, singing praises to God! Come and join us this Sunday to see what it's all about!

Hooray! We had a fantastic week of Maker Fun Factory VBS at Harmony Grove UMC. The children worked hard putting together their "Spotlight VBS" stories to share with everyone. What an awesome time we had learning that God made us for something special, is always for us and never against us, is always with us no matter where we go, and will always love us unconditionally. Wow, God!

At Maker Fun Factory, kids discover that God made them—and for a purpose! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Funshop Finale that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time on VBS Sunday, June 25th at 11:00 am.

Kids at Maker Fun Factory VBS will join a missions effort to fund Samaritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.

Maker Fun Factory is for kids from 3-years-old (potty-trained preschoolers) to rising 5th graders and will run from 9:30 to 1:00 each day. For more information, call
